LANDS END TO JOHN O' GROATS

Solway Sporting Breaks is on Cycle Route 7 which runs from Gretna on the Scottish border to the Highland capital Inverness.

Every year we are pleased to accommodate guests passing through on the Lands End to John o' Groats run and others just doing a part of Cycle Route 7, by bicycle, tandem, or tricycle !

The Lands End to John O' Groats Cycle Guide by Simon Brown divides the 950 mile trip into 14 rides of an average 68 miles, with the Annan area being the end of one of the legs. Cummertrees on the B724 part of Cycle Route 7 is specifically mentioned on that page and Solway Sporting Breaks is the ideal place for that leg's stopover!

Whichever you are doing, you will find a warm welcome , a good dinner if required, a very comfortable bed, and a substantial breakfast to get you underway the following morning!
